Please note that there is no road access to or from Kirkhaugh Station and limited parking with uneven access at Lintley.

Refreshments may be available on certain dates from a buffet coach on the train (subject to availability of catering volunteers) - either during the journey for those riding in the buffet coach or whilst the train is at Lintley Station

The journey takes about 30 minutes in each direction.

Fares:

Children up to 3 years travel free, except during some special events.

Child fares apply ages 3 to 15 inclusive.  

A family ticket is  2 adults and up to 3 children.  

10% discount available for pre-booked parties of ten or more.  

South Tynedale Railway Society members - 50% discount on adult fares for the member and one guest.

Keep your full price ticket and claim 50% off your next journey in 2013 - applies to adult fares only.

Dog Ticket: £1.00 per single / return journey.

Bicycle: £1.00 per single / return journey. Bicycles will only be carried if there is space available. Please check with the guard.

Different fares / restrictions may apply during special event days - please enquire for details.

A carriage with access for wheelchair users is available. Advance booking is recommended: telephone 01434 381696. A wheelchair accessible toilet is available at Alston Station.

On uncoloured days (white background), no train services will operate.
