Summer Bus Services operated by Wright Bros. (Coaches) Ltd.

During the Summer months, an additional bus service operates from Durham to Alston, as Service X85, which connects at Alston with the coach service between Alston, Penrith and Keswick, on Wright Bros Coaches Service 888. A range of through tickets with day and period returns are available.
The Durham to Alston service is operated by Wright Bros Coaches, with funding provided by Durham County Council.
Service X85 operates every Saturday in July, August and September and on the August Bank Holiday Monday.
Please note: This bus service has now been withdrawn and WILL NOT be operating during 2006.

- This service runs under contract to Durham County Council.
- This service is not pre-bookable, fares are available from the driver on the day of travel.
