Summer Bus Services operated by Arriva, North East (formerly United).

��� During the Summer months, additional bus services are operated from Durham and Darlington serving either Weardale or Teesdale areas and passing through the town of Alston, en route to either Kendal or Penrith. These are operated by Arriva, North East (formerly known as United Automobile Services Ltd.).
��� The Durham to Kendal service is operated by coaches, whilst the Darlington to Penrith via Alston service is operated by midi-buses as shown in the photograph.
��� Intending passengers are advised to check times with the bus company concerned before travelling as timetables can be revised or altered at short notice.
��� The main network of bus services in the Alston area are operated by the local coach company, Wright Bros. Coaches Ltd., for details of their services please see the Wright Bros bus timetable page.
